Sahaj e-Village Limited(an ISO 27001:2013 Certified Company)is a venture initiative of SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited (SIFL) has delved into bridging the digital divide between urban and rural India under the flagship of NeGP of the Government of India. Sahaj e-Village Limited has taken a phenomenal initiative to take information and knowledge reach all corners of the Country.
Sahaj operates through its two business verticals i.e. Strategic and Retail Businesses. Both the Businesses are closely bounded and run through a holistic Social Inclusion model which ensures achievement of Economic Empowerment and Enhancement, Life Quality Enhancement, Livelihood Enhancement. Also, the focus is towards ensuring Human, Digital & Physical network driving efficient access to Rural India through our various products and services.
As far as our vision of creating a better India is concerned, we see high prospects in Financial Inclusion. The BC model has stepped in to improve the situation. The model creates a win-win situation both for the rural mass being served as well as the entity carrying on the project.
At present, we are operational in 10 states of India- Assam, Bihar, Odisha, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. We plan to expand to 25 States with a robust franchisee network. Our strategy is to utilize franchisee activation and pull products to increase the depth and width of the market we serve.
Till date, Sahaj has rolled out 37994 Sahaj Centres across the 10 Sahaj states. We offer a range of over 50 services that includes financial inclusion, financial services, community level water plant, utility bill collection services, NREGA data collection, government form submission, e-Learning, mobile top ups, railway & flight ticket booking, skill development, advertising, etc.
Sahaj has the vision to provide employment linked skill training to more than 1 Million youth in the next 10 years in these sectors. It has been actively involved in skill development training and placement since 2010.
Sahaj in the recent past have undertaken many projects involving Skill Development, Training, Livelihood, Capacity Building, Survey and Studies, Project and Programme Management, data digitization, implementation of ICT initiatives, Public Private Partnership etc.
Sahaj has collaborated with Central and State Government for implementation of various centrally and state sponsored schemes as Training Agency.
We are currently executing Skill Development programmes in 9 States i.e. Delhi, Rajasthan, Odisha, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka and Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh.
We have till date trained more the 30,000 candidates and ensured 75% placement.
Sahaj is empanelled with Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, to implement the Prime Minister’s visionary program titled ‘Deen Dayal Upadhyay-Gramin Kaushlya Yojna’(DDU-GKY) in seven states, namely Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.
